I took many pictures throughout the trip. This float (for the most part) down the Colorado was peaceful with spectacular scenery. However there were two hazards. When we approached small rapids there were times when water came into the boat and I had to protect my camera. Then there were times such as in this picture when I had to block out the sun in order to get the shot that I wanted. Our guide, John, knew all the tricks, and either directed the boat, or had one of us direct it so that the turbulence was minimal.
