Eagle Butte is the tribal headquarters of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe on the Cheyenne River Indian Reservation. We ate lunch at the Outrider Café there before heading south. The professional football player and coach, Norm Van Brocklin was born in Eagle Butte. The artist Sonja Holy Eagle was also born here.
