We took Rt 240 (out of Wall) directly to the gate for the Badlands National Park. It was late and the light was marginal but The Badlands were another South Dakota attraction that I was told I had to see. At the gate we bought the $10 pass (senior) that was to prove useful not only here but in the national parks out in Utah. Despite the sinking sun our view of the Badlands from the Rim Road and eventually the Sage Creek Road was spectacular.
